These Terms of Use apply to WhatsHer@ (whatsherat.org), including our image & link search tool and our guides. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What the service does
WhatsHer@ is a free tool for searching the web with a picture instead of words. You can upload a photo or paste an image link to see where that picture, or ones like it, appear online. Results may be shown on our site using third-party image search providers, and you can open the same image in other search engines such as Google Lens, Bing, Yandex and TinEye.
The tool shows where an image appears on the public web. It is not a face recognition service, and it doesn’t identify people or look up private accounts.
Use it responsibly
You agree not to use WhatsHer@ to:
- stalk, harass, threaten, bully, dox or intimidate anyone, or track or monitor another person without their permission;
- try to identify private individuals from their photos without their consent, or gather information about people for unlawful purposes;
- upload images you don’t have the right to use, or that invade someone’s privacy, including intimate or sexual images of anyone without their consent;
- upload any sexual content involving minors. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities;
- upload content that is illegal, hateful, violent or sexually explicit;
- break any law, or infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- misuse the service, for example by running automated or bulk searches, scraping, trying to get around limits, overloading or attacking the site, or uploading harmful files.
We may limit, block or refuse searches that break these rules or look like abuse.
Your images
You keep all rights to the images you search. By searching, you confirm you have the right to use them, and you give us permission to store them temporarily, process them and send them (or their links) to image search providers, only to run your search. How we handle images is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Search results and other websites
Results come from third-party providers and the public web. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and they link to websites we don’t control. We aren’t responsible for other websites’ content, availability or practices, and the search engines and providers we use have their own terms.
A match is a clue, not proof. Finding a picture on a website doesn’t prove who owns it, who is in it, or who posted it first. Please check carefully before you act on a result, especially before sending money or making accusations.
Our guides
Our articles and guides are for general information only. They are not legal, financial or other professional advice.
Our content and trademarks
The site’s design, text, logo and guides belong to WhatsHer@ and may not be copied without permission, except as the law allows. Google, Google Lens, Bing, Yandex, TinEye and other names belong to their owners. WhatsHer@ is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Advertising
The site shows ads to stay free. Advertisers are responsible for their own ads, products and services.
Availability and changes
We provide the service free of charge and may change, limit, pause or stop any part of it at any time, including the number of searches available, without notice.
No warranty
The site and tool are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We don’t promise that the service will always be available, error-free or that results will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, WhatsHer@ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of search results or other websites. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to fifty US dollars (US$50). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Your responsibility
If you misuse the service or break these terms, you agree to be responsible for any claims, losses or costs that result.
Copyright concerns
If you believe something published on WhatsHer@ infringes your copyright, contact us with the details and we’ll review it promptly. Uploaded images are temporary and deleted within about an hour.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of USA. Disputes will be handled by the courts of USA, unless the consumer laws of the country where you live give you the right to bring a claim there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
